**EL2 Forms are mandatory for middle & high school students**

The FHSAA Required EL1 form is an Electrocardiogram (ECG) Screening Form that must be completed for all incoming 9th graders and new student athletes in grades 10-12 starting July 1, 2026. This requirement is part of the Second Chance Act to ensure the safety of student-athletes by detecting hidden heart conditions and reducing the risk of sudden cardiac arrest.

STUDENT ATHLETE REQUIRED COURSES 

**Students are not allowed to attend practice until all three courses are complete**

NFHS Learn Required Courses

As per FHSAA Policy, all student-athletes and coaches are required to annually complete the following NFHS Learn courses before participation. All courses are FREE. 

• Concussion for Students (ATHLETES ONLY)

• Heat Acclimation and Heat Illness Prevention (COACHES & ATHLETES)                                                     

• Sudden Cardiac Arrest (COACHES & ATHLETES)

• Sportsmanship (COACHES & ATHLETES)

• Concussion in Sports (COACHES ONLY)

• Bullying, Hazing and Inappropriate Behaviors (Coaches Only)
